Baroda Gujarat Gramin Bank is having three tier organizational set up viz. I) Head Office at Bharuch, II) Two Regional Offices at Godhra and Valsad, III) A network of -148- branches covering twelve districts of the Gujarat State viz. Valsad, Dang, Navsari, Surat, Tapi, Bharuch, Narmada, Vadodara, Panchmahal, Dahod, Anand and Kheda. The bank is rendering its Services mostly to the rural poor for their development and upliftment of their living standard. OUR SHARE CAPITAL

 
 

The authorized share capital of the bank is Rs. 5 crores. Paid up share capital is Rs.3 crores in the ratio of 50:35:15 by the Central Government, Bank of Baroda & Government of Gujarat. The Bank has share capital deposits of Rs. 2004.68 lacs subscribed by share holders in the ratio of 50:35:15.

The total deposits of the bank reached the level of Rs.137188.29 lacs at the end of 31.03.2011 by recording growth of Rs.21387.86 lacs (18.47 %) over previous year.

 OUR VILLAGE CAMPS

        Bank has implemented innovative idea of village level Recovery cum disbursement camps for effecting substantial recovery in NPA / written off accounts and also for making qualitative disbursement. During the year 2010-11, Bank branches have arranged total -262- village level Recovery camps and recovered total Rs. 99.81 lacs in cash in NPA & written off loan accounts.

 OUR SELF HELP GROUPS

During the year, -1325- new SHGs have been formed with Saving Deposits of Rs. 7.78 lacs and -1591- SHG accounts have been credit linked with sanction limit of Rs. 508.59 lacs.

At the end of 31.03.2011, there were total -22396- SHGs with saving deposits of Rs.734.00 lacs with the Bank. Out of which, -10860- SHGs are credit linked. Total amount outstanding in credit linked SHGs accounts as on 31.03.2011 is Rs.1019.45 lacs.

 COMPUTERISATION


To utilize manpower for other productive work and to take advantage of the computerization, we have put more stress for Branch mechanization. All -134- branches are computerized and made live under BIBAS (Bilingual Integrated Branch Automation System) Now as per directives received from Govt. of India, Bank has switched over to Core Bamking Solution (CBS) platform and all -134- branches have been made live under CBS.

OUR FINANCIAL INCLUSIONS

            The Bank business spans amongst twelve districts. Most of the districts have significant tribal population. Our efforts have contributed to their well-being and development.

Bank has covered all -1823- service area villages under 100% Financial inclusion up to the end of the financial year 2008-09.

As per directives of Hon'ble Union Finance Minister, Govt. of India in respect of coverage of villages having in our area of population of 2000 and above under banking fold; Bank has identified -350- villages in our area of operation which will be covered under financial inclusion through BC/BF model by March 2012.

 OUR SWAROIGAR CREDIT CARD (SCC)

         Bank has issued -8693- Swarojgar Credit Cards to swarojgaris for amount of Rs. 2166.55 lacs at the end of 31.3.2011. During the year, Bank has issued    -633- fresh SCC for amount of Rs. 157.90 lacs. Outstanding amount of SCC as on 31.03.2011 was Rs. 637.16 lacs in -3572- accounts.    

OUR KISAN CREDIT CARD

            Bank has issued -89863- Kisan Credit Cards to various farmers for amount of Rs. 38113.66 lacs at the end of 31.3.2011. During the year Bank has issued -12437- fresh KCC for amount of Rs 7938.73 lacs. Outstanding amount of KCC as on 31.03.2011 was Rs. 14800.92 lacs in -39943- accounts.      

 OUR BANCASSURANCE

With a view to provide the benefits of Life Insurance schemes to the Bank’s customers and augment the non interest income, Bank entered into an MoU with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd. on 20 December 2007 for Life Insurance Business on a referral basis which yielded good results during the year. Bank collected total premium of Rs. 2.85 crore under tie-up arrangement with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd.
